Review: An Heiress's Guide to Death and Diamonds

An Heiress's Guide to Death and Diamonds An Heiress's Guide to Death and Diamonds by Kristen Bird
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This sequel does not disappoint, Kristen Bird is so masterful with this cosy mystery series, I couldn't wait to get stuck in.

It was so lovely to return back to the story of Dakota Green and see what adventures lay ahead for her this time, with all the usual wit and charm that is infused in this series.

Dakota Green thought her high school reunion would be nothing more than awkward small talk and stale punch. Returning to her hometown offers a chance to reconnect—not just with old classmates, but with her long-distance boyfriend, who happens to be the local sheriff. But when a former classmate turned reality TV star collapses on the dance floor, the night spirals into a murder investigation.

Determined to assist her boyfriend—whether he wants the help or not—Dakota dives headfirst into the mystery. As secrets unravel, she finds herself confronting more than just a killer. A long-buried family truth, a mysterious inheritance, and the identity of her father all come crashing into view. One thing’s for sure: this reunion is anything but boring.

Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for this ARC.
